Zach Bigalke
Zach Bigalke is a managing editor
of Informative Sports. With a background in debate theory, Bigalke has been a
freelance writer for the past
several years, taking a look at some of the
lesser-heralded stories in sports and the greater world through his dispatches
from The
Cerebral Vortex...
Born in Wisconsin, his first
sporting loves were the teams of his birth state -- the Packers, the Brewers and
the Wisconsin Badgers. After moving to Jackson Hole at age five, his interests
diversified to include winter sports as well as a rooting interest in the
Wyoming Cowboys.
Now based in Eugene, Oregon --
home of the Oregon Ducks -- Bigalke offers his take on both traditional and
non-traditional sports. From football to cycling, baseball to swimming, hockey
to tennis, there is always a unique take up for offer.
Whether using the skills which led
him to two National Forensic League national tournaments for high-school debate
to tackle an opposing viewpoint with a fellow writer or investigative skills
learned from years of extemporaneous speaking competition, there’s always sure
to be something which stirs up the emotions which only sports can!
